L-O-V-E Day 5

I love lunch dates! It's such a great way to catch up with friends. I had lunch with my sweet friend, Kandi, today. I'm so lucky to have such wonderful friends like her. She inspires me so much. She is getting ready to go on a mission trip, so please pray for her. I wish I would have taken a picture of us today, but I was too busy just visiting and completely forgot. (Hey, Kandi, "I gots books!" LOL!)

I love that Derek and Ella Grace had their very first lunch date today. It is the first time that just the two of them have gone to lunch without me or Evan. Since I was at lunch with Kandi and Evan was at school, they made a date of it and went to Chuck E. Cheese. I love that this was completely Derek's idea to take her and how excited she was when he told her where they were going. They played games and ate pizza. Derek said several times while they were there she would stop and say, "Daddy, thank you for bringing me here. I'm having so much fun." =) She couldn't wait to tell me all about it when I got home. So sweet!

I LOVE your LOVE posts!!

Secretly, I wish I would've had little "dates" with my dad when I was a girl. EG is so lucky to have a Daddy that wants to spend that kind of quality time with her.

Leigh Ann, I can always feel how much you love your family in your posts. You are the BEST mom!

So glad you and Kandi get together! Where is she going and is Lance going too?

EG will remember the time her Daddy spent with her! I still remember my Daddy spending a lot of time with me when I was very young! (Although I can't remember what I did yesterday!! har)

How sweet! I have always been a daddy's girl myself so that is wonderful that your husband and daughter have such a close relationship.

LeighAnn, First I want to know if you can read the Chinese ( or whatever it is) on the previous post? Weird. Anyway, I have been checking in on your blog for a few weeks now and you haven't been able to comment. Is everyone ok? I"m getting concerned. I always love hearing about your little world. You seem to have a precious and thankful life. I hope and pray everything is ok in your world. I miss hearing about little Ella Grace and Evan. Enjoy your family. Please post us with updates soon. :):):) dsfox625@hotmail.com
