Evan is 8 years old today! To say I can't believe how fast time has gone is an understatement. It seems like he was just this little yesterday...
age 2and now he is a big guy that is on the go...
I am a mix of emotions today. I'm so happy and proud, but I'm also sad at how fast time has gone by. Hopefully when Derek gets home from drill, we can salvage the rest of the evening and go do something really fun to celebrate. Until then, I'll be giving him lots of hugs and kisses. Happy Birthday my sweet, precious, beautiful boy!!! Mommy loves you SO much!

I've had a bit of the same emotions lately, too, Leigh Ann. Tyler moved out last Thursday night leaving me the truly empty nest. While I'm happy for him... it seems so lonely and quiet and the house even seems bigger. I can't help but keep replaying their childhood memories through my mind... and it seems like it was just yesterday.
