Havin' Fun!

Just a picture for bath time the other night. Sweet, happy kidlets!!!

I'm trying really hard to "live in the moment." My blogging has taken a backseat due to this. My kids are growing SO fast, and I don't want to miss anything, but I also want to preserve our memories. It's so hard to balance.

We have been having fun in with all our day-to-day busyness.

Ella Grace is loving gymnastics! She goes once a week. Her favorites parts are the bars and the air track at the end. She is doing great pointing her toe, doing her flips, walking on the beam and ending with a perfect "super stretch."

She is so stinkin' cute in that little leotard!!!

"Super stretch"

Point those toes. =)

Evan is playing baseball with Miracle League. This is a baseball league designed specifically for individuals with disabilities. If you want to do something to put life in perspective, go to one of these games. I wanted to sit in the car and cry afterward. Not because I was sad, but because I was moved by the individuals who volunteer their time so others can play baseball. I know it is just baseball, but to these kids, it is a chance to do something they may never had been able to do had Miracle League not existed. Evan did so good! He had a ball! The weather has not cooperated with his last few games, so I'm anxious to get him back out there.

Checking it all out from Daddy's shoulders

One of my favorite pictures from the day. Evan putting his hat on Daddy.

Helping the pitcher with the baseballs. =) This was a volunteer from the Arkansas Travelers.

Daddy helping out with batting. Evan had his eyes on the ball and hit it on the first try. =)

My handsome men!

Hey you! Looks like you have been VERY busy! The kids are growing up so fast. You are right...living in the moment and blogging sometimes conflict if you face is always behind a camera :). I deal with the same struggles.

The Miracle League is a wonderful idea...what a blessing!

Have a great day!

I loved this post, Leigh Ann. I know what you mean about blogging being secondary to those sweet moments with your family. That bath tub photo is adorable!!!

You are blessed!

Hi Leigh Ann! It is so cool to see the Miracle League. Our special needs Sunday school class participated in our church's spring musical a few weeks ago with about 150 other kids. It was AWESOME! They produced a video for us and everything so we are thrilled to see how God is working in the lives of kids with needs. Life is too fun to miss one moment!

SO GOOD to catch up with you! I have been a bad blogger lately and was feeling kind bad about it, but I like your take on things! Sometimes living your life and living in the moment means that certain things take a back seat... that's not always a bad thing! Anyway, love your cute kidletts and think it is so cool that Evan's doing baseball and EG is doing gymnastics! So fun! Y'all are going to have a great summer!!
