Time to Hide the Mascara

This girl loves make-up, especially lipstick and mascara. I usually put a little lipstick on her when she asks for it, but never let her have mascara. Well, tonight she came into the office and said, "Look at me!" I was startled when I first looked at her because she looked a little like Charlie Chaplin. It took only a few seconds for me to realize she had been in my mascara.

"I did it myself," she told me proudly.

She cried when I wiped it off. I was scared she would get it in her eyes. Evidently during her make-up session, she decided to dump out my mineral make-up on the rug. I asked her if she made a mess, and she replied simply, "Kinda a little bit."

She also has on lipstick which is rarely on her lips but rather all around her mouth.

I have to mention two days ago she colored on the columns in our dining room with purple marker (thank goodness they were washable) and today she drew on the leather seats of the car and her own car seat with black ink pen. She must be going through her creative phase. Whew! She is keeping me on my toes!

Too cute! Aaron painted his face with mascara last summer. He looked like a spotted puppy...too bad the camera was not upstairs at the time.
Baby wipes remove most marks....except dry erase marker from upholstery.

So cute! Looks like it is time to put the makeup, and markers and pens in a safe :). Maybe you do have a little artist on your hands? Ha!!

The same thing happened to us last week. But it was mascara on the face and nailpolish on the hands and legs. I guess it was spa day!

That EG!! I LOVE the second picture!!! How cute is that???

I do remember those days, though. I once went into Tyler's bedroom (where there is tan carpet) and he had taken a red magic marker and drew "roads" for his cars ALL over the room. I thought I would DIE. But, somehow I managed to get it out.

Have a great weekend!

Oh my! Emma has done this before too, and when my sister told her that she was not allowed to touch her makeup, Emma said "well you left it out" Sassy little things! They are precious though =)

Oh, this makes me laugh because it is so very familiar to stunts that go on around here! When A gets into stuff I always say, "Alexee, you're lucky you're cute!" :)
