I See Hey-copter!

Saturday afternoon Derek had to go into work to see in a helicopter. It had been on a mission to help people in the NW part of our state that were hit so hard by the ice storm. The kids and I decided to tag along. Evan and Ella Grace had THE best time.

They were at the windows most of the time looking for the "hey-copter," as Ella Grace calls it.

Loving Evan's expression here...

"Hmmm. This place is pretty cool. Wonder what kind of mischief I could create!"

EG got to talk to the pilot on the radio.

She asked him, "What you doin'," and told him, "Good job."
Her hair is getting so long.

Side note...super cute Spring sweater from Target for $6.49, thank you very much! I love 3/4 length sleeves and it is ADORABLE in such a small size! LOVE me some Target! They have the cutest little girl things.

Oh, and Evan can't be left out. I'm loving this "Heartbreaker" t-shirt for Valentine's Day from Gymboree. Also, LOVE me some Gymboree (that's another post...hee hee)!

The highlight...

What a perfect Saturday...74 degrees, lunch at Chik-fil-a with the fam, shopping at Target, Kirkland's and Old Navy (where I found this super cute chiffon top), field trip to Derek's work, and then dinner out with the fam! Just wonderful!

I am SO ready for Spring! How about you???

Are y'all watching the Super Bowl tonight? Looks like we are having a party for four here. I just found out yesterday who is playing and who I am rooting for! Ha!

Hi Leigh Ann! We are both just some Tar-jay and Gymboree shopping fools! Alise has that same sweater, only I bought hers real early last year and so it is short-sleeved. The weather was beautiful here, too, so we headed to the park. Glad you guys had a wonderful Saturday. And, yes! I am SO ready for Spring!

I was surprised to find some really cute little girl clothes at Target this past Christmas. I never used to look, now I do! And Gymboree...oh yeah!

I guess it's because we usually see EG from the front...but, honey! She has got some GORGEOUS hair!!! How beautiful is that!! Love those twirly curls!

Love Target, too. You are right...they have the cutest things. That sounds like a fun day with the kids. We always get excited when we see helicopters around here because we don't see them that often. We are going to church tonight and aren't into the Superbowl too much (since the Cowboys aren't playing :)).

Have fun!

I noticed his little Heartbreaker shirt in one of the first pics and wondered where you might have gotten. So glad you said. :) Your kids are super cute.

I envy your 74 degrees. We hit 61 yesterday but the wind was terrible. I love target but I am soooo cheap I don't find much at Gymboree. I am heading to Jeff City in a week and plan to hit the outlets in Osage Beach. It's time for Children's Place to have the 99 cent sale. I always find lots at those prices!

I loved this post! EG's sweater is the cutest - do they have our size?? And your blouse is cute, too!

I just found out who was in the Super Bowl last week - and the Kurt Warner is back! Ha! We watched part of the game at Jodi's - the end - that was fun!

I can't wait to have my power back on at the house. We just got it here at the church yesterday afternoon, so we missed church yesterday!!

I found a green jacket/sweater at Old Navy this weekend. They had some cute things.

I LOVE EG's hair and was just thinking how long and pretty it was in these pictures! And yes you do have a heart breaker on your hands. The pictures of him peeking through the glass is adorable.

And about spring??? I am SOOOOOOO ready! Find me a golf course and some time off work! BUT, if it's going to stay cold (and according to the groudhog it will) then, I'll take some snow days please! :-)

I want her hair. On my head.

I would've loved to have seen the pilot's expression when he heard that wee little voice on the radio!

That top is adorable!
