Future Blogger

I think Ella Grace will be a blogger, too.

Of course, you can see she is at Kelly's blog to check on the status of Harper's arrival. It also doesn't hurt that there are pictures of Dawson. She LOVES him!

I am missing her SO much! She spent the night with my mom last night (Evan wanted to stay home, which was definitely welcomed by me). As I got EG strapped in her car seat, I was telling her I hoped she had a great time and kissing her and telling her I loved her (secretly hoping she would change her mind). I no more got out, "I love you," and she said "Bye!" I watched them pull out of the driveway. She was all perched up in her seat waving to me. My heart hurt a little. I always think it is a great idea for my children to have grandma time, but I'm always sad when they ACTUALLY go. I have talked to her several times on the phone, and each time she is telling me all the fun she is having. She sounds like such a big girl. She is two and we actually have entire conversations. It's amazing!

OH - so sweet!!! I'm laughing that ya'll are looking at my blog! I don't know that EG would love Dawson if she actually met him - he's not the friendliest dog ever. :-)
I loved spending the night with my grandparents - it's good that she gets to do that - even if you are sad. She will be SOOOOO happy to see you!!!!!

Oh yeah! She HAS to be a blogger. Grandma time is good but a little hard on the parents. I'm sure it was good to be with Evan for a little mommy/son time.

She is so precious! I can imagine seeing her pull out of the drive would be bitter-sweet! I know your mom enjoyed the QT though and EG did too! :-) Love that she's already a little blogger, ha!

I relate to this SO much! Even when Connor goes for just the day, I am sad to buckle him in and send him off!!! It is sad to me every single time!!! I think it must be a sentimental mom thing!
P.S. I think blogger is going to explode with all the people checking Kelly's blog!!! I want to see the numbers....because I am totally stalking her! :)

That EG is so cute!! I never wanted to be away from my boys (still don't), but I'm beginning to feel like Judy and Becky... I'll want some of those special times with my grandbabies!! You're blessing your momma's heart by giving her those memories as well.

I know how you feel when you say goodbye to your kids. Just imagine when they go to college! Mark left yesterday and I got the biggest lump in my throat when I hugged him goodbye. I miss them so much!
