30 Day Shred

I don't really watch The Biggest Loser. I usually only catch the finale. It really is amazing the results that are achieved by the contestants. While at Target the other day, I picked up Jillian's 30 Day Shred.

I have three words...

OH

MY

GOODNESS!

Derek is in pretty good shape, and I asked him if he wanted to try it with me. He was like, "Sure. I'll do it." I think he was thinking it was just for girls and he wouldn't even break a sweat. You know...that he was there for my support. Hee hee! Well, I heard some panting going on over in his direction, too. After it was over, I asked him if it was harder than he expected and he said yes. I have been sore, but I have looked forward to the next workout. I would love to be able to go to the gym, but our schedule just simply doesn't allow it. This workout has three levels. I'm sure I'll be on Level One for a while, so this entire series should last me all year. Ha! Push-ups are just not my friend. They are SO hard for me, and she does A LOT of push-ups. :)

If you are looking for something to do at home, I definitely recommend this video. However, I'm not holding her to the 30 days. I'm pretty sure it will take me longer than 30 days to get "shredded". :)

AWESOME!! You're speaking my language girlfriend!!!

I am all about pushups. They're just an all-around effective exercise.

Is it a more cardio/aerobic type workout? or how would you describe it?

Whew! That sounds very intense. I am terrible at push ups, too!! I have absolutely no upper arm strength!

Good luck getting shredded! ;)

I'd LOVE to have the chance to work out with Jillian (or Bob) from Biggest Loser! Well, maybe I should say that I would LOVE to see the kind of results they seem to be able to produce in their clients--amazing! I might have to get a copy of this video for post-baby!

Ha! I can imagine a workout with Jillian would be tough...I watch the Biggest Loser!

Keep us updated! I know time for the gym is hard to come by with two little ones.

She is very intense. I may have to check that video out. I go to curves but I have not been very good about my schedule.

You know from reading my blog, I love, love the biggest loser. I haven't seen this workout video, but I'm going to have to check it out. I've got to do something about this delapadated body! lol. Are you dieting too? Let me know how this works for you.

You HAVE to watch biggest loser - it's our FAVORITE show! Jillian is the devil. (no really - she is nice except when she is training you. Scott wants to hire her and I want Bob - he's the best!)
I need this video - I'll be needing it in about a month or two. I wish I could see you and Derek working out to it!!!!

Good for you! She is a tiger, isn't she? Her Wii game is killing me, too.

I will email you this week about your blog. YEA!!

WAY TO GO! Okay, so I'm thinking about going and getting it. I love to work out, but here's the only problem--can NEVER stay on a schedule so I rarely go to the gym. Maybe I can do this at home after the kids go to bed and then find a few evenings a week to get a run in! Thanks for the idea!

That last comment just made me laugh out loud..."shredded!" I think that is awesome that you & Derek are doing that together ;). You are perfect just the way you are...by the way ;)!!!

I love those pics of the kiddos! They really have grown ;)!
